Time On This Earth

Time on this earth.

Represented by the movement of the revolving earth.
If not for the sun standing still, we wouldn't notice.

There's no capturing time; only its images in photography.
Where we were on this trip, on this afternoon, at this monument.

Time is circular.

I think it is God's secret way to create an eternal earth.
And when time is gone, you have to move on.

Curiosity about time.

Might ask, "Who is the owner of time?"
The obvious answer is there is none.

Except for the person who conquers time.
By living more each day.
By sleeping less, taking quicker poops, and not scrolling.

The curious need to talk, interact, learn from others.
They shorten the learning process; read speedily, absorb vicariously.

The owner of time.
Conquers time, gets tasks done under time, does things now.

Then, there's time to sit and (look like you're about to) do nothing.
Splashing water needs time to calm down and level.People same.
Quietly "doing" nothing is re-constituting life.

And most of all, time is here on this earth to grow.
Growth is finished upon our last breath here.

We don't take time with us into the Next World.
This precious commodity belongs to the people alive on earth.
Like money, you leave it behind.

How much time does each of us have?
It's limited to our being on earth.

We won't be figuring out time after we die.
Maybe only regretting sleeping through a third of it while on earth.

Eugene Harnett and Yoshi

Hi, I'm Eugene Harnett

Highly Trained by my wife

Back in '82, I married into another country, another race, another language and culture, another way of doing things, simple things, like organizing kitchen shelves, tying shoes, shopping for bread, all different... when I married my beloved from Japan, Yoshi.

We were introduced by our favorite pastor but could not be more opposite, except our birth dates which shoulder each other. Our marriage turned out to be a blessing. I'm a pastor, an uncle, and a grandpa. Stick around, you might learn something from our boiling marriage stew.
