Working hard at it.
I'm keen to finish my book this month. I have five pillar chapters to finalize during the first half of this month. Then, in the second half, I plan to get five other chapters done. After that, I will have three left, unless I can go faster.
I'm planning to stay here at the cabin on Florence Lake through the middle of September. It will be real doable to finish the book by then.
It feels almost like I may have an internal knob that's set on the dial of "Please Rewrite More," such that I may not get it ready for publication. I do want to get feedback, first, from numerous people before finalizing the copy. I may be traveling by then, which would mean I'd finalize the copy while traveling in October and November. Then in December, I'd get it ready to launch.
It feels like a dream away. I want my list of emails to grow to 2000; and I want the launch page and sales system all setup and ready to go by December; also, I need my upsell newsletter ready and going by then. Always there's some uncertainty of my available time to keep on top of this new obligation. This will be my new life.
I can do it. It is a mindset thing, for sure. My resolve grows to "just commit." My son, Geoffrey, had made that slogan with his friends when skateboarding off stairsteps in his high school years. "Just commit." It's what I'll do now. Press forward. Keep me in the cash. That's what it means.
I must be certain and committed for the long road, for the From-Now-On road. I'm entering a new book of my life, not just a new chapter. A new book. Blank pages to be filled. It's more than an analogy (don't ya think), as I write my first book.
I'm praying a lot about it. It is more a prayer than a write. Nevertheless, I must write it. The more I commit to writing it, the more I actually write it.
It is shaping up. Now I have twelve chapters, with two of them mostly edited. I'm feeling good about them. I still have the thirteenth chapter about Spirit World to write. That is an important one. They are all important, really. I can't leave any out. Well, that's my feeling at this moment. But... maybe I'll save some for a future book.
Just be strong, Eugene. Be strong about it. Get it finished.
So there there I am; rather, here I am... on my way to complete this book, this project. I do hope to publish in December. That would be a dream come true. I want it done well, with endorsements. I shall work hard at it.

Highly Trained by my wife
Back in '82, I married into another country, another race, another language and culture, another way of doing things, simple things, like organizing kitchen shelves, tying shoes, shopping for bread, all different... when I married my beloved from Japan, Yoshi.
We were introduced by our favorite pastor but could not be more opposite, except our birth dates which shoulder each other. Our marriage turned out to be a blessing. I'm a pastor, an uncle, and a grandpa. Stick around, you might learn something from our boiling marriage stew.
