The simplest way to decipher them.

Renaissance Time

Great Works

I am supposed to decipher the great works of the angels and parse them down into chewable segments, but it's like describing the ocean to a polliwog. It only needs and is happy with its puddle.

The great works angels are professional football linebackers on a high school scrimmage team. These angels have muster and might for the heavy lifting ahead. Angels, by course, have different skills and training as specialized groups.

I don't see them. Instead, I have a practical understanding of their presence. I have at times felt them working to help me but rarely. I guess it gives me assurance that they're in the background doing their stuff, helping people fight evil and walk toward goodness.

I haven't googled how many people believe in angels, but it's a supermajority. The angels feed off of gratitude and acknowledgement from the human world. Unfortunately, they do so much without the nod of it.

The great works that they do, I want to express thanks. They have prepared for us, thankless humans, treasures of support. We battle innumerable antagonistic forces. We could use all the support we can get.

And discover the heart of gratitude in all this talk.

Like this: Next time you catch yourself slipping on the floor but just missing a bad fall, thank an angel for that.

Eugene Harnett and Yoshi
Eugene Harnett and Yoshi

Hi, I'm Eugene Harnett

Highly Trained by my wife

Back in '82, I married into another country, another race, another language and culture, another way of doing things, simple things, like organizing kitchen shelves, tying shoes, shopping for bread, all different... when I married my beloved from Japan, Yoshi.

We were introduced by our favorite pastor but could not be more opposite, except our birth dates which shoulder each other. Our marriage turned out to be a blessing. I'm a pastor, an uncle, and a grandpa. Stick around, you might learn something from our boiling marriage stew.
