Plans Go Into the Hibernation Fridge
Today, I discovered bear poop around our property. Fairly fresh, no more than a day or two at most. Last time they came through here, about this time of year, they cleaned out the wild rabbits. Probably again. My wife says: they have to eat before winter hibernation.
It's all part of the season closing in, winter. October just ten or so days out.
Everyone has a residence. A bear's residence, I never much thought about except in a cave away from traffic.
My character is such that if a pressing thing needs to get done, it crowds out every other thing. If I delay it, because that one thing is complicated and it takes unreasonable effort, then it roughens my mind like sandpaper would. I sand and sand and sand until I'm smooth. No priming, no painting can get done until.
That one thing feels like a crowd coming in the front door; and I'm trying to go out. Outward traffic is blocked. I almost have to turn around and go with the crowd. The crowd doesn't stop coming in.
Every month is a weakness.
We didn't find a place to buy this year, for whatever reasons. For me, the will was missing in the others. I wanted to be in a new place by now.
It's okay. We're still traveling of a sort, heading overseas in October for a couple of months, with a flexible return date.
That one thing will have to wait. The exit is blocked.
Like a bear, future plans have to be put in the hibernation fridge. The only difference is I clean up after myself.

Highly Trained by my wife
Back in '82, I married into another country, another race, another language and culture, another way of doing things, simple things, like organizing kitchen shelves, tying shoes, shopping for bread, all different... when I married my beloved from Japan, Yoshi.
We were introduced by our favorite pastor but could not be more opposite, except our birth dates which shoulder each other. Our marriage turned out to be a blessing. I'm a pastor, an uncle, and a grandpa. Stick around, you might learn something from our boiling marriage stew.
